I have had good luck with them and they last. I think my oldest is 9 or 10 years old. My turnout sheets are all Rider's International and they have held up great too. I got desperate late year when I got my newest horse and bought an Amigo at the tack store (that's all they had) and I think the qualityis crap. I tend to layer when we have cooler weather here in FL by putting a baker sheet or blanket under the medium turnout. My horse measures a 75 and that's what his blankets are. Though he does wear a 72 in the Rambo flysheet (another 'blanket'!) because they do run big. My guy is long but slender (15.3h, 44" girth). I don't layer, but I feel I could easily add the thick Rambo fleece cooler underneath. I also owned 78s from prior horse, but they hung off his rump which is why I got 75s. Three inches is good jump in size. If you want to go up from 78 in Horseware, you have to jump to an 81. :/

The only non-Horseware I have is the Dover 'Wool Dress Sheet' in 75 and it fits perfectly. But a Kensington flysheet in Euro or Traditional cut in 74 was like 2 sizes too small at rump.2LeftSockshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11414707358481052987noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9044855508651000032.post-84032399221802058962013-11-20T16:46:34.657-08:002013-11-20T16:46:34.657-08:00This comment has been removed by the author.2LeftSockshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11414707358481052987noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9044855508651000032.post-34286433528952121842013-11-20T14:26:51.961-08:002013-11-20T14:26:51.961-08:00SO he is a TB but not a lean/slender one. I heard the Horsewear run large, do you find that true for all but just the Rambo/Rhino?

I would really prefer an attached neck .. ideally.Karleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09196824979284472867noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9044855508651000032.post-65974114044047605182013-11-20T14:13:34.729-08:002013-11-20T14:13:34.729-08:00If Rambos fit your horse well (as they do mine) th...If Rambos fit your horse well (as they do mine) then stick with Horseware. I have owned Amigos, Rhino and Rambos. I can say the Amigo runs smaller (butt cheeks hang out) and I found the Rhino and Rambo comparable. I sold my Amigo Bravo 12. The neck was shorter then the Rambo and butt cheeks - you also don't get the V clips in front if that matters. For the price I just get the Supremes (removable neck) even though I don't think I've ever taken the neck off since I full body clip. But at least I have the option and price is comparable. Also Med Supremes come with no fill necks and I read that necks should be lighter then blanket fill. Added bonus is you can also add liners (I don't do that either). I've ordered several blankets from Pinnacle - always best pricing (also ck their ebay - PinnacleHorseware). Also Rambos hold their value the best.

My one horse has 5 turnouts (2 lite, 3 med) (3 Rambo Supremes, 2 Rambo WUGs) and all of the Rambo Newmarket Stable blankets/coolers in Navy stripe (2 blankets, 1 cooler, 1 qtr) and a wool show blanket from Dover. I look at Baker stable blankets all the time but 1. Don't know if they will fit him nice 2. He never wears his stable blankets except for shows.

You are not alone.2LeftSockshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11414707358481052987noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9044855508651000032.post-17640793810622560422013-11-20T09:52:13.735-08:002013-11-20T09:52:13.735-08:00Good to know! They are fine if you horse goes out alone and doesn't act crazy outside, lol. Rambo is the way to go! Each of my boys has a Rambo stable sheet, turnout sheet, and midweight turnout blanket. I would love to get Stampede a 100g turnout too since he runs warm, so that will be on my Christmas list. Still considering a Rambo cooler as well because the boys are sharing a cooler currently. I have found Weatherbeetas to fit weird, not last long and not be worth the price, plus those tiny little six inch shoulder gussets most of them had would rub Connor to pieces - boy needs a big gusset for that big shoulder! I have heard really good things about the Dover ones too, but never tried one myself.
