I def was blessed this Christmas!!!
Today I went out to ride/take a lesson. The indoor arena was packed hard hard hard so we rode outside in the big round arena.

It was all flat work today which is fine since I am still not quite well from Christmas. We worked on some counter canter too and that was a good feeling to accomplish. Henry did awesome and I felt like I wasn't to shabby myself lol!

DeleteAwesome! I love that they all got you horsey stuff. I wish a company like SmartPak existed here... I'd just send everyone some links to stuff I want and away we'd go! Haha. Though what we do now works just fine, as most people get me Greenhawk gift certificates (that's the only local tack store I frequent).

ReplyDeleteLast year at Christmas everyone, got sick. Hubby and I didn't get hit until we got home but it was awful, and this year it was brought up more than once how sick we all were!
I love Henry's plaid blankie. Coneman had a similar blanket (until a nasty horse he was pastured with ripped it to shreds) and I think big red horses just look so classic in them.

Yeah a vacation of being sick is no fun! All the riding I had planned went right out of the window! ugh!

ReplyDeleteI have used the girth once and like it.. though i think the sizing is a little small. I normally ride in a 48 but got a 50 and it fits like a 48 or a tad smaller. Other then that I like it a lot :)
