I had this drafted for a while and kept forgetting to post it, thanks to Eventing Nation for this amazing article!

Hack tonight, lesson tomorrow (if my babysitter is available- waiting for the confirmation), idk about Wed/Thur, trainer ride Fri and lesson Sat.
I saw that on Facebook a while back and loved it!
ReplyDeleteYep that is where I saw it too... LOVE it :)
DeleteOne of my favorites!
Delete:)
DeleteHad to post this on my facebook!! My mother has said the exact same things to people who think she and I are crazy for our love. After she gets done, the people tend to be speechless. :))
ReplyDeleteNice! :)
DeleteLove this. I've grown up with horses in my life and I truly think they "saved me" from my teenage self. It is my great dream to someday pass the love on to a daughter of my own...I know the secret.
ReplyDeleteYep I have been riding since I was 8 and I def think horses helped make me who I am today :)
DeleteLooooooove that. I've read it before and agree!
ReplyDeleteYes it's the best! :)
DeleteThat was wonderful. Thank you for sharing that, I hadn't read it!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it great! :)
DeleteI have this printed off and in a binder I made for my daughter when she graduated from high school. No truer words! And now, you will pass this love on to your own daughter :)
ReplyDeleteAhhhh what a great piece for what you made! Yes I love that we can pass this on to our girls! Even if mine is only 2.5 :)
DeleteWow! That's just awesome! I need to share that with everyone who thinks I'm crazy for loving horse because I agree that horses do make you good people and keep teenagers from all those trends! I need to post that on my bedroom wall!
ReplyDeleteYes do it!! It's awesome!
DeleteTrue words! I'm another one who read & enjoyed it on Facebook.
ReplyDeleteCurious: what do you consider a bounce? It looks like Henry's mid full stride... up "north" we consider a bounce zero full strides, just land and take off. I didn't know if it was a typo or if you guys call bounces different things!
Oops I meant to say in an out... sorry! Yes bounce is no strides, in an out is anything under 2 strides as explained to me by my trainer :)
DeleteLovely article!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to send it on to everyone I know who'll get as much enjoyment out of it as me - and possibly to those who think I'm mental for the time & money i spend on my girls. :D
Share away girl!! It's an awesome piece :)
DeleteNice pictures!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteGorgeous pics!! Love the link thanks for sharing.
