Definitely see a physician and then a physical therapist if they recommend it. Seeing a good, qualified PT will save you a lot of pain later in life.

DeleteAfter a nasty fall a few years ago I had a chiro work on my back and it made a huge difference! Definitely consider them.

DeleteEquestrians have a pretty high rate of back pain, i think for most of us, we need more core to compensate for our crummy backs :)

DeleteI have a pretty bad back and I have found a lot of relief with a massage therapist. Although I'm sure any of the above types of therapists will be helpful too.

ReplyDeleteSorry about your back. My husband has bad discs and a nerve problem so I can sympathize after watching what he went through. Sadly the only thing helping his is time and being careful what he does and what he lifts. I hope you can figure yours out. I tweak mine sometimes, but so far a night with muscle relaxers is enough to help. Bad backs run in my family though so I'm super careful. Hope you feel better soon!

DeleteYeah I try to really bend my knees all the time, ive been doing crunches at night to try and strengthen my core... I don't think it helps that I sit all day at work :(
