Chai Tea Latte

Hit up Starbucks on the way to the barn... yummmmmy!

Henry is getting better... we are taking it slow and doing light hacks- giving that splint time to heal :) Can't wait for my ice boots to come!

I semi participated in the lesson with everyone.

After the lesson I gave Henry a head to toe bath... he was so clean I could have eaten off of him lol!!!

Cold hosed his leg, grained, pampered him some more, took him to his stall, filled up his water and gave kisses.

He will get cold hosed and turned out tomorrow, light hack and cold hosed Monday, hack and cold hosed Tuesday, turn out and ice boots Wednesday, idk Thursday, trainer ride light hack and ice boots Friday and Saturday hack and ice boots. We will see how the week goes as to when he will start jumping again. I am in no hurry, just taking time for that splint to set :)

  2. Hope he's back to 100% in no time! Ice boots are awesome. I have a pair of the Ice Horse boots and love them; have had them for 2 years now. Can't tell you how many times I put them on her when she stocked up, had a swollen cut on a leg, or just wanted to help her cool off faster. Of course they were used on her tendon injury in the beginning, and other people have borrowed them when they've had issues with swollen legs on their horses. They were well worth the investment; I think everyone should have a pair in their equine first aid kit. :)

    2. The BOT Quick Wraps, of course! :) They would be for heat therapy, not cold therapy like the icing, but after trying one of their ankle braces on myself, I want the wraps for Lily. It really, really works. These are next on the list! :)
