What is your biggest horse care mistake?
I'd have to say, not listening to my gut and standing in what I felt .. second guessing myself.
I know my horse(s) and how they life their daily life. I am not perfect or 100% right.. but there are times that I know what I know. And I have been around horses for the majority of my life. I still need the professionals don't get me wrong :)
Pretty vague but its good to go with your gut :)
ReplyDeleteAs long as you have the experience to go with your gut lol
DeleteMy biggest mistake was leaving a gate open by not paying attention. Fortunately it all ended well but I felt like an idiot.
ReplyDeleteHenry opens his own gate if you don't put a chain around it lol!
DeleteThat's a hard one, learning to trust the gut.
ReplyDeleteYep def!
DeleteI somehow think we could have drummed up some Henry running amok story for this, but I agree, not trusting your gut is probably the biggest thing we do wrong in most circumstances.
ReplyDeletehaha he has only run amok once and being prego i wasn't going to try and hold onto him when he took off... not that exciting lol!
DeleteI agree. Although I rely on professionals entirely, almost every mistake I have made is from relying on them over my own gut feeling. They don't know your horse like you do.
ReplyDeleteYep totally! :)
