Like I need another horse ... but it's always fun to pretend shop!
What would ya'll buy if went shopping locally?
I pick Frostyyyy!! haha I honestly try to not even tempt myself
ReplyDeletehaha come ride and buy him!!
DeleteI already have 3, I literally just sold one! haha I just need to bring a pony back up here, or steal Ramone/Frosty
DeleteOk if they are gone, i won't rat you out ;)
DeleteMy goodness are they expensive! There isn't much I would buy locally. The Oldenburg babies I want are usually in select breeding farms further south. There isn't a lot around where I am :(
ReplyDeleteIt's all fake money, I could never afford any of these horses ha!
DeleteLol, you need a pony pony next ;) Otherwise B will be stealing Henry before you know it!
ReplyDeleteright! but no more horses for us!
DeleteThird pony? You could have had that medium with the silly haircut!
ReplyDeleteno more horses for us... if board wasn't so expensive maybe- but not in the current situation.
DeleteI only tend to window shop when I'm annoyed at my creature, and then I look within my budget which means I can't buy much of anything :) Love that grey though.
ReplyDeleteHaha I like to window shop with WAY MORE money then I would have in my budget :)
DeleteI just bought my local choice!!
ReplyDeleteYay Miles!
DeleteSo are you planning to start riding/ competing western now? Asking bc of the western horses scattered. I haven't done window shopping in a while. My trainer and I were talking and there's no way I could replace Houston with what I paid for him. Love that boy though. At some point it would be awesome to have another but that's not in the cards any time soon. Need to be responsible!
ReplyDeleteI've always dabbled in western- just never seriously. I always say when I am to old to jump im going to try cutting and reining.
DeleteI owned 2 western horses before B was born (Brodie and Speedy) but decided to focus just on Henry after B was born.
Yeah Henry could not be replaced for what I paid for him.. he's worth way more. I really need to get him insured!
This is my addiction. I look at horses for sale almost daily. This is probably also why I have a full barn. It is fun and sometime you run across one you can't live without.
ReplyDeleteHahaha! If I had property I would probably be in the same predicament that you are in! :)
DeleteSince I don't want to do anything fancy, I'll just take another Haflinger that can ride and drive, without the issues my mare has.
ReplyDeleteI want a Haflinger :)
DeleteI usually dont shop but I am a member of a feedlot rescue place and once in a while one comes thorough that I have to have. Oh how nice it would be to have that kind of money to spend though! Considering I have an awesome boy who really is irreplaceable I try to remind my self that since I REALLY dont need another one as a poor student :)
ReplyDeleteOh man that would be SO hard not to want to save a bunch of the feedlot horses!!
DeleteIf I were to look for something it would be something in the pony/small horse range that could be a kid friendly horse for my girls.
ReplyDeleteAw such a good mommy :)
DeleteGorgeous horses :) I love the grey
ReplyDeleteme too! :)
DeleteThe grey is my favorite. He is GORGEOUS!
ReplyDeleteI love a pretty grey for sure, my weak spot!
DeleteI like your choices! The grey would be my favorite. :)
ReplyDeleteWe all need a pretty grey!
DeleteI'm a sucker for greys, but would never actually buy one (if I could help it). I try not to look at horses, but some FB groups have horses mixed it and it makes me swoon. I decided when I got Sam, I'd only have one riding horse (I've owned more then one before). I really want all my time to go to him. When he retires is when I'll be shopping again. When you see a super special awesome horse that's for sale now, it's hard to believe that there will be another for sale when I'm ready to shop (my horse is 15).
ReplyDeleteMe too, they are my fav! I have had one and Grayson should be gray so I am excited!
DeleteOne day I hope to have the kind of money to afford a horse of the above price :) For now, I shall buy green and work with my trainer to train em :)
Grabby hands.... Wantz!
ReplyDeletehaha me tooooo!
DeleteThere are a couple of gorgeous Polish Arabs from rare bloodlines saved from a hoarder situation, currently up for adoption at a local equine rescue. I'd get one of them!
ReplyDeleteAgree with the others: LOVE that gray!
Oh nice! I am not a big Arab person but there are def some really nice ones :)
DeleteLove playing millionaire with time to spare - never going to be me though, I've had enough trouble this autumn/winter trying to find time to ride my two!
ReplyDeleteWhy is work so time-consuming?! If only there was another way to pay the bills...;-)
Yeah I can't afford more horses or have the time to ride more- but if I didn't have to work, thats another story ;)
DeleteFascinating! I feel like the caliber of horse and price are both higher out there than they are here. You'd laugh if I showed you truly local options, besides the breeders I know, of course.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to California ;)
